Where did January and February go?!!!

We can't believe that it is March 1st tomorrow.  Our students have been very busy as usual.  We completed work on our unit about Japan and celebrated by going to a Japanese restaurant for lunch (the video from our lunch will be posted soon).  In January, we started a unit about job skills and self determination (beginning with our personal reputation).  During February, we read books about George Washington and Abe Lincoln and discussed how being honest is an important part of a good reputation.  We also made fruit flower arrangements as a gift for our families; they were beautiful (pictures below).  The most exciting event in February was the Valentine's Day dance.  As you can see from the pictures, everyone had a great time.  We have learned so much the past two months, but we always seem to have a lot of fun too!!
